Carnage in Gujarat: Citizens´ Initiative
St Xavier's Social Service Society is collecting funds for Citizen's
Initiative, a coalition of about 30 grassroots groups all based in
Ahmedabad. It has FCRA clearance for foreign contributions; so you
can send directly to them. If you would like the contribution to be tax-
deductible in the US, SINGH Foundation is collecting monies to be sent

We have so far sent $9,000 - $8,000 raised by the Boston-based
Alliance for a Secular and Democratic South Asia, and $1,000 raised by
INSAF in New York by selling food at the Asian-Pacific street fair last
Sunday.
