NRIs from diverse religious & ethnic backgrounds are organizing a protest rally/peace vigil at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in New York City, on Saturday, September 14 at 6PM, when Indian PM Vajpayee will be speaking there.

The purpose here is to focus public attention to the many anti-people and especially anti-minority policies and actions of the BJP govt in India. A special item will be protest against the recent brutal killings of Muslims in Gujarat with the connviance of the Gujarat BJP govt.

I make a special request to all communal harmony oriented friends in the tri-state NY/NJ/Connecticut area, to attend this rally in large numbers and register our protest against the forces of fascism in India.
