    Suggestions for Medical Teams

All those who would like to visit gujarat and provide medical relief, here are some concrete suggestions. Please inform Bina Srinivasan and also mark a copy to Sarojini

    Doctors Needed:
    Gynaecologists/Paediatricians/Psychiatrists and General Physicians.

Teams of six persons at a time will be best.

The volunteers required for Ahmedabad, Panchmahals and Dahod which is about 80 kms from ahmedabad.

Security is not an issue in panchmahals or dahod. In Ahmedabad doctors will be sent only where it is safe to go. Volunteers will go with local people.

In most camps only external examinations can be conducted. For other kinds of examinations we will set up some kind of infrastructure. We will also make necessary arrangements if surgries are required to be done.

It is best to bring medicines and things like gloves, speculums and so on. Anti-tb drugs and antibiotics are needed.
