A documentary about the rise of the Hindutva movement in India

George Washington University will be hosting a screening of a documentary about the rise of the Hindutva movement in India.

The documentary, made by a Hindu film maker named Suma Josson, looks at the Hinduta movement not simply as a setback for human rights but as a setback for India's development.

Dr. Najid Husain, whose father-in-law was killed in the riots, will speak briefly his family's experience. Film will be introduced by Eeshat Ansari.
